真没想到会和Su Yin在纽约见面！   上个星期日说好见面，驾了一个小时多的车（约52 miles）看到反方向的Delaware Water Gap收费站，把手伸进隔壁座的包包里挖不出我的钱包，顿时愣住了。   心里OS： “WTFFF，不要告诉我没带钱包出远门？！”   我这个 超级、超级 粗心大意的傻大姐竟然可以把包包不可缺的物品之一 - 钱包遗留在家？！！这是什么世界？   无论我怎样绕乡间小径却怎样也逃避不了要付钱的厄运。越是逼近toll，越是害怕地头昏脑胀。摇下窗，劈头就口无论次地向收费员道歉解释老娘没钱过toll。当时我已做好最坏的打算：停车向后面的车要$1。没想到那收费员说你就过吧，到时候他们会寄什么东东给我。我也不管是好是坏，只要你让我顺利回家就好。那时的计划就这样泡汤了。   所谓“一朝被蛇咬，十年怕草绳”，这次出门再三地确认钱包就在我身旁，却总觉得钱包不存在，好不踏实~（摊手）   @ The Antiques Garage     一直想要见识纽约的跳蚤市场是什么样子，在网上找到了好几处地方。 首先来到了位于W 25th St的 The Antiques Garage ，一踏进去深深地被这个被拿来当跳蚤市场的停车场吸引住了。里头有好多档口摆卖着各式各样的复古玩具漫画餐具家具绘画衣服书本……等等的宝贝，等着你来发掘。 我在其中一个档口看中了两条项链，老板要价$5，我要$4，她不肯降价，我走人。不知道可不可以像JJ Market那样杀价？最后我买了一幅蛮有意思的画，下次再介绍。     @ Trailer Park (271, W 23rd St.)     装潢超有趣，食物正点，好喝的Margarita Rocks。值得推荐的好去处！   @ Lincoln Center 身后是Metropolitan Opera House。         David H. Prior to this year, we have never had an au pair before. We had always thought this would be a great idea – a " third parent " to help us get our kids, Sam (aged 7) and Lily (aged 3), off to school and then pick them up in the evening. 对啦，超出我预算走了3个小时的山路。     *上载图好解释* 原先打算走Fireline Trail（标识"F"），然后再走Skyline Trail（标识"U"）回去终点。却不知怎么下山后发现这个地方很熟眼，才发觉竟然走到了Hickory Run Trail（标识"K"）。当时心中响起了警铃，因为我知道从这里走回去有一段较艰辛的长路，加上上一次淋雨事件产生阴影，难免胆怯怯。幸好所有事情都很顺利，平安地回到家。 秋天中旬行山有点困难，大部分的路都被叶子覆盖着，尤其经过Sandy风暴后，路上会遇到倒下的树枝阻挡去路。当我来到山顶时，强大的风在我眼前把树吹得摇摇欲坠，我看着那棵树好几秒，猜测它到底会不会倒下来，而我又会不会逃开不被压扁。      @ Fireline Trail             阴天+刮大风+寂静无人=可怕             @ Skyline Trail                 万“棕”一点绿。             The forbidden color in M.
