Boston (22-23/6/13)

@ Boston Freedom Trail

In the 1950’s concerned Bostonians were determined to preserve the story of the American Revolution as it began in Boston through preservation of 16 historically significant sites. These 16 sites are located along a unique 2.5 mile urban walking trail, marked with a bricked or painted red line.

Park Street Church.

Granary Burying Ground.
Love the Soul Effigy, skull or death’s head with a wing on each side that was a representation of the soul flying to heaven after death. *hint*

Josiah Quincy statue and Boston Latin School.

Old State House.

People were wearing this ridiculous-looking paper hat on their head in Dick's Last Resort restaurant. Look it up on yelp.com and found out that nearly the whole page of reviews are stating that this place is PLAIN. HORRIBLE. I would say they have their own concept of what a restaurant should be.

Can't believe that people actually wearing bikinis and chilling in North End Park. f(0 u0)
他们敢穿,我们就敢看,哈哈。

Paul Revere's House.

A lady played the glass harmonica in Paul Revere Mall.

Paul Revere statue and the Old North Church.

The Old North Church since 1723.

Charlestown Bridge.

City Square Park.

Bunker Hill.

Sneakers from fellow marathoners.

A living memorial to honor the Boston Marathon 2013 tragedy.

Pretty excited when entering the Harvard Stadium.

The Harvard Crimson football team.

Intense training.

My awesome gadgets from Urban Outfitters (floral platform shoes and cat-ear hat).

Tourists gathered around John Harvard statues.

@ Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill is such beautiful yet historical neighbourhood.

Brick sidewalks with this unknown-purpose ironwork.

Louisburg Square -- Greek Revival style houses and private park.

The wrought-iron fences with beers.

Acorn Street -- the most frequently photographed street in the United States.

Cobblestoned path.

We spent some good times walking around Boston and had the best Korean dinner ever since I came here. We were zesty after 1 bottle of Suju. No, I had one glass of Margarita before too. That was a happy drunk for us. Not to mention Suemi brought us to a local Brazilian bakery shop and tried out the almost-Brazilian-style of breakfast. I can't wait to visit Brazil next year.
